Internet-based Studies in Education and Research provides online training modules covering research fundamentals, patient safety, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other public health and performance-improvement issues. Previously, users seeking training in these areas had to access two applications—Rapid Deployment Continuing Education (RDCE) and Research & Practice Fundamentals (RPF). Access to RDCE and RPF was discontinued. The username and password to access Internet-based Studies in Education and Research is the same as the following applications:
- Research Practice Fundamentals
- Rapid Deployment Continuing Education
- UPMC and University of Pittsburgh Superform
- UPMC and University of Pittsburgh HSConnec
